I have also been working on my November entry for Knittin' Mittens. Here is the pic of the completed mittens:
They are children's size 6-8, and done on 4.5mm dpns using Patons Classic Wool Merino in the Rosewood colourway - at least I think that is the colour...I have two wrappers and wasn't sure which was the right one...LOL.
Next I will have to get some socks done for the SAM2 to count for my November entry. I'll have to get cracking at those and work on them between the Christmas gifts. I am just so close to completing the first of the gifts, so I'll have to go work on that between doing some homework this afternoon and this evening. I'll keep you posted as to whether or not it works out, and like I said before, you'll see pics of it after the recipient receives it at Christmas.

Oh, I didn't know you had this blog, I have been at your other one! Don't feel bad about only having 2 pair of handknitted socks to wear - - I have knitted four pair, all for others, and I have none for myself to wear!! I'm finishing up a crochet project (a gift for someone else). Maybe one day I'll get to knit myself something!
Thanks for your comment at my blog Shelley! Love those mittens, especially the colour. I've only made 1 mitten, I guess I'm too pre-occupied with knitting bags. Oh and don't fear making clogs, if you can make mittens, you can make clogs. Just lock yourself in a room (for the sake of concentration) and follow the pattern closely. I bet you'd be surprised at how easy they get!!

Beautiful mittens, Shelly! Thanks for visiting my blog. I used to live up in Houlton Maine-I spent a lot of time on your side of the border! Seeing that you are from NB makes me homesick! Great blog!

What a lovely, lovely pair of mittens! They came out beautifully - some little girl out there is going to be very lucky!
Your mittens look great. I'm such a slacker, I still have to knit a single pair (who am I kidding, I still need to knit just one).
