Scarf Progress

I got my Knitting Olympics Irish Hiking Scarf done last night!! Wooo Hooo!!! I stayed up until around 1:30am to finish it since I was so close. Don't have the picture as of yet, but will try to get it up tomorrow. I am also working on the heel of my nephew's green socks, and will probably work at it some for a bit before bed, and then tomorrow.

Not much to say right now, but just wanted to post the news of my finished scarf. Check back for a pick of it (probably tomorrow evening at the earliest).

YEAH! Good for you. Looking forward to seeing the pics. Is that a gold medal I see in your future?

Well done Shelly, 1.30?? wow, I have never stayed up that late to finish something, you were very focused!! Can't wait to see a picture of the scarf.

I've been thinking, if you would really like some Opal, how about we do a sock yarn swap??

Congratulations!! I hope I can say the same by tomorrow [Sunday] afternoon. I'm struggling with the side & neck bands now. And still need to find buttons while I shop for groceries. Snow storm coming in; so that'll get me focussed on finishing I'm sure. But I still need to pray on it before I sit down & finish. I'll look for a picture of your scarf when I'm done. Happy knitting!

I can't wait to see a picture of your Irish Hiking Scarf, as I LOVE that pattern and would love to make one someday. I bet the pick yarn you used will look great in it!

Cool Stash in the post below! We live in the sticks in a teeny tiny little rural town and don't have a LYS anywhere within driving distance, either! I like ordering stuff, though, and have found some cool places on the internet to put on my shopping list!
