I've worked a little on knitting recently - but not much. I've done a little work on the Russett scarf, but that requires me to pay attention. I've also been working now and then on Stephanie Pearl McPhee's One Row Scarf. This is the third one I've made, and it will join the ranks of charity items for the church's mitten tree at Christmas. I'll post pictures at another time.
Just wanted to wish everyone a great summer. I'm off to Australia in less than two weeks to finish my teaching internship. I'll be there for July and August. I'll take some knitting along, but I don't know if I'll get any done while I'm there. I had anticipated getting lots done when I was in Korea, but that wasn't the case.
I'll be bringing my laptop and camera along with me and posting pictures. These will be on Facebook and probably my other blog, Confirm The Work of Our Hands. I'll let you know when I post some pictures so you can check it out then.
Must go get ready to do some running around for the trip. Happy knitting!

So cool you get to go to Australia.
Happy knitting, happy ... winter I guess over there, and happy travels.
How exciting to be off again. Are you teaching English classes? That's what you taught in Korea right? BTW, you'll have a much easier time finding yarn and knitting supplies in Australia. In fact, they GROW THEIR OWN. Have a wonderful experience!
Rhonda, this time I'm doing the last half of my teaching internship. I am finishing up my Bachelor of Education degree so this is to finish off this program. And yes, I taught English in Korea.
Hey, will have too check out that other blog. Have a great time!
