God has given me the talents to create items to share with others. In the past I have made baby afghans, baby and toddler sweaters, scarves, mittens, and shawls for others and I give all the credit and praise to Him.
I have already posted this picture in my other blog, but figured I would share it again here for those who may not have seen it.
This was made using Lion Brand Homespun yarn (nice and soft and warm) and 6.5mm needles. It was pretty easy and fast to make, and I got the pattern from one of the yarn wrappers.
I hope to post more pictures in the future of the various items I knit, crochet, or other craft items such as homemade cards.
Feel free to comment on what you think of the items!

Shelley, this little sweater is darling and looks so warm and cozy. I have never learned to knit, and my crocheting is pathetic. However,I do like to sew. Have you ever knitted for charity? It would be worth your while to check out a blog called 25 Things for Charity. www.25thingsforcharity.blogspot.com. When schoolwork gets to be a burden, try making something to give away. The idea is to make 25 things for charity in 12 months. It's a cool site. I joined a couple months ago and have done 5. I enjoy the easy challenge and wondering where the works of my hands will end up!
Hi Shelly - thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog. I'll be stopping back by to check on what you're up to here!
Zoanna: The sweater is very soft and cozy. I was talking to my brother today and they had tried it on my nephew and said it fit good and that it was very warm. I guess it will be one of those sweaters for the really really cold days of winter!
As for the charity thing, that site sounds great! I've never heard of it before, thanks for mentioning it. I'll check it out. I have made some items for our church's mitten tree in the past (mittens, slippers, etc.) and those are given to kids who need them. I also have made items for the children of friends, or when a baby is born.
Knitting is so relaxing, and crocheting too, once you get the hang of it lol. I highly recommend them both ;o). God bless and thanks for stopping by!
Lynda: Thanks so much for stopping by! Am hoping to get some more pics of of a few things I've made (most of the stuff I never thought to take pictures of though...but I'll do so in the future). God bless!
Just wanted to stop by and say "hi!" Thanks for stopping by my blog ...
