My friend was telling me yesterday about a new book she just read. It is called Heaven is for Real. It is about a little boy who gets to visit heaven for just a few minutes. It sounds really good. As for the weight of the yarn, it doesn't say if it's worsted, but the "size" indicator on it states that it is a 4, or Medium weight. I think that is a worsted weight, though...

Really, you can just use whatever hat pattern you are comfortable with and just use my pattern with it, as long as it is a multiple of 2 stitches...

The hat is so cute. I love knitting lace the most ... but lace isn't warm enough for a baby right. But Shawls or Shawlettes are my favs items to knit these days.
