I've been skittish since a bad car accident and knitting distracts me when I'm the passenger. :)khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08348897633406934535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20378232.post-1145394143378528602006-04-18T18:02:00.000-03:002006-04-18T18:02:00.000-03:00lol i think you made me more anxious! but that's o...lol i think you made me more anxious! but that's ok. the pattern is super easy if you can read the graphs/charts what ever you call them.
good luck.
i love all the places you knit!StarKnitshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12208631697844102759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20378232.post-1145393959701626322006-04-18T17:59:00.000-03:002006-04-18T17:59:00.000-03:00Syd (I tried going to your blog but it didn't work...Syd (I tried going to your blog but it didn't work so I'll post the reply here), if you click on Kat's name it will take you to her blog. I guess it doesn't look like it is linked, but it is. I will go in and change it so that it shows that way.Shelley L. I doubt that I could come up with anything unusual, but it would be fun to try. I'm not talented enough to be able to drive and knit, nor do I even think I want to practice that...too risky if you ask me!

Ruth, my places are pretty boring too - just regular ol' places.

Jan, thanks for the info about wild yeast. I had no idea it just came from the air. Also, I've had Confirm the Work of Our Hands longer than I have this one. I figured they wouldn't want to read about my knitting on there so I was inspired by Ruth of Ruth's Knits to start a blog for my knitting.Shelley L. The latter hardly seems like a way to avoid future accidents. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20378232.post-1145256702897880452006-04-17T03:51:00.000-03:002006-04-17T03:51:00.000-03:00what a fun little contest! i'm curious as to all t...what a fun little contest! i'm curious as to all the odd places people have used to knit. my list would probably be very boring... mostly coffeeshops, sometimes in class (during breaks), sometimes in the car. our church is having an all-church camp/retreat next month, and i'll bring my knitting there. but other than that... that's it for me. =PRuthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00801790818714893429noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20378232.post-1145253180326268392006-04-17T02:53:00.000-03:002006-04-17T02:53:00.000-03:00Shelly, you posted a question over on my blog abou...Shelly, you posted a question over on my blog about where the yeast from the starter comes from. I couldn't find a way to email you, so I hope you don't mind me doing it this way. The yeast just comes from the air. It is "wild" Some starters call for using store bought yeast, but in that case, you are just culturing the yeast that comes from the store, and it doesn't taste the same. Does that make sense.

You know, I have been reading your other blog, Confirm the Work of Our Hands, and didn't even know you had this one! I am such a dork.Janhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01551372986526581604noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20378232.post-1145243271965500102006-04-17T00:07:00.000-03:002006-04-17T00:07:00.000-03:00Shelley, I hope you're a passenger and not the dri...Shelley, I hope you're a passenger and not the driver when you are knitting in the car. : )

Shelly in OKPrayerful Knitter - Shellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00964530242497364228noreply@blogger.com
